Summary: Never make deals with the Devil. He'll always find a way to screw it up for you in his favor. Just ask poor Stanley, who got involved with him one fateful day, and lived to regret it...sort of.

History: George Spiggott was the human alias of Satan himself, who was looking for a guy to manipulate, and perhaps a little fun. In actuality, he's bet with the Lord that if he can collect one billion souls, he'll be allowed back into heaven. He's got human incarnations of the Seven Deadly Sins to help him, though he decides to target first a love-sick wimp named Stanley Moon. In exchange for his soul, Spiggot offers seven wishes to the guy, which he accepts. But being pure evil, Spiggott is sure to remind him to be careful what he wished for...

Final Fate: Feeling generous after getting one billion souls, Spiggott doesn't damn Stanley, and goes to Heaven...only to find out from St. Peter that he lost the bet due to Stanley's noble intentions. Feeling very agitated, Spiggott proclaims that humanity will fill the world with tactless trends to disgust the Lord.

Powers/Abilities: On a whim, Spiggott can grant wishes (and twist them) as well as cause wanton misfortune wherever he goes.

Weakness: He is not completely immune to trickery.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Despite being, well, the Devil, Spiggott is too funny to hate. His spirited, friendly demeanor to those he knows are quite endearing, and his manipulative actions come off as more mean and spiteful than deadly.

Trivia: -This film was meant to be a comedic re-telling of the tale of Faust, but in London.

-Spiggott was played by Peter Cook, who was said to have played a major role in the 1960's British satire craze.
